ALAE has been awarded a Prime SBIR Phase I contract by the U.S. Air Force SBIR/STTR Program Office!

The U.S. Air Force SBIR/STTR Program Office has awarded Air Logistics and Engineering Consultants (ALAE), Inc., a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract to develop a reconfigurable interface test adapter (RTA) to ensure efficient, cost-effective test program set (TPS) transportability. This innovative project will provide significant life cycle sustainment cost savings while increasing reliability and maintainability of Automated Test Systems (ATS) used to repair/return critical avionics assets to warfighters. In particular, the innovation will decrease sustainment cost and increase mission capable rates for Air Force Sustainment Command (AFSC) Supply Chain Management (SCM), USAF SPOs, USAF ATE SPO, and the 402nd EMXG/SMXS stakeholders. This will be accomplished by facilitating a more rapid and cost effective method to retire legacy ATS/ATE when moving TPSs to modern ATS.
