Security Administration (SECA)

Summary:

This position assists in the security office administrative functions to control access, monitor and assess facility security, assist with emergency evacuations and in-place sheltering, assist security forces personnel when directed, and the clerical functions supporting implementation of security requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities consist of but are not limited to the following:

- These requirements include policies, procedures and operational tasks to safeguard property, personnel, operations, and materials as part of the DoD industrial, physical, informational and installation security programs pertinent to the C2ISR Division and its facility.

- During duty hours only, the employee may need to response to burglar alarm activations and call or meet responding security forces personnel.

- Employees working in this SECA function will have the first direct contact with visitors and dignitaries and must present a proper respectful demeanor and professional appearance.

Qualifications:

Experience in controlling access for visitors and assigned personnel, to include verifying visitors’ security information, issuing access badges, and maintaining authorized visitor lists. Access control experience should also include the use of cameras and entry door card programs. Other experience should include duties associated with the tasks described in the position description above, such as safeguarding property (including facility access/control processes), personnel, operations, and materials.

Education and/or Experience:

· SECA Level 1.
Minimum two (2) years within last four (4) years working directly in security administrative functions and
an AS degree or vocational school diploma in physical or industrial security, operations, business, administration or related field is REQUIRED.

· SECA Level 2.
Minimum four (4) years within last six (6) years working directly in security administrative functions and
an AS degree or vocational school diploma in physical or industrial security, operations, business, administration or related field is REQUIRED.

· SECA Level 3.
Minimum six (6) years within last eight (8) years working directly in security administrative functions and
an AS degree or vocational school diploma in physical or industrial security, operations, business, administration or related field is REQUIRED.

Computer Skills:

Must have experience using Microsoft Office 2003 (or later) suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint), working with installation security agencies, and must have the ability to perform tasks in customer-owned databases such as the Joint Personnel Adjudication System.

Must have a current SECRET clearance or an inactive SECRET clearance within the last 24 months. Wage is DOE and this announcement is open until filled. Work location is Robins AFB, GA. Position is subject to US Government requirements.
